IMPORTANT: Please do not edit online, download your own copy to edit! A practical spreadsheet for artists, songwriters and producers looking to get their music into TV, film, advertising, games and other sync opportunities. Use the tracker to organise your music catalogue, document each track’s genre, sound tags, mood, lyrical themes and sonic references, and keep track of who you’ve pitched to and when. You can also record contact details, follow ups, submission status, available versions and instrumental mixes, rights information, and any confirmed sync placements or usage terms. Whether you’re pitching to music libraries, publishers, sync agents or directly to music supervisors, this tracker helps you stay organised, manage your pitching activity and keep a clear record of where your music is going. To help you: - Organise your catalogue and track metadata. - Identify the right sync opportunities for each song. - Keep a record of pitches, contacts and follow ups. - Track feedback, opportunities and confirmed placements. - Monitor usage, licensing terms and payments. Add every track to your catalogue first, then log each pitch separately. This makes it easier to track a song’s progress across multiple opportunities without losing track of where it has been sent.
